Verafy Learning is operated by Y Cleaners, Inc. dba Atverus, Inc., a Texas corporation. An account is held by a verified adult. Under an account, the adult enrolls one or more learners, who may be children, teens, or adults. We never ask whether you are a parent — we simply apply child protections to any learner whose birthday indicates they are under 13.
Some early lessons are offered on our public site so anyone can try them, and so we can learn where young children naturally get stuck. These do not require an account or sign‑in. When a child plays one, we collect only anonymous interaction data: which on‑screen choices were tapped and how quickly, and general technical information about the device (browser type, screen size, and country). We do not collect any name, photograph, voice recording, birthdate, or contact detail. Each play session is tagged with a random identifier that is generated fresh each time, is not linked to any account, and is not used to recognize a child across sessions or across other websites. We use this information only to improve the lessons, keep it for a limited period (currently up to 120 days), and then delete it.
To verify that learning happened, apply age‑appropriate protections and pacing, send the account holder a weekly report card, and operate the service. We do not use children's information for behavioral advertising and do not use it to train AI models.
For a learner under 13, we obtain verifiable parental consent before that learner is activated and before we collect the learner's information. Verafy Academy is free to use. An account is created and controlled by an adult, who verifies control of their email address by entering a one‑time code we send to it. Before any under‑13 learner is activated, the account‑holding adult must affirmatively confirm that they are the child's parent or legal guardian and consent to that learner's participation. Until that consent is completed, the learner stays inactive and we collect no information about them.
We do not disclose a child's personal information to any third party. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for advertising.
Learners earn Veramony — a rewards value — for verified learning. A Verafy Store, where Veramony can be redeemed for products, services, and local classes, is planned and is not yet open. When it launches, any redemption will be parent‑initiated: a participating local business receives only the parent's information at the moment the parent chooses to redeem an offer — never the child's. We never sell a child's personal information and never share it for advertising.
We use only what is needed to operate the service (e.g., your login/session). We do not use persistent identifiers to track children across other sites or services or for advertising.
We keep a child's personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, and then delete it. The account holder can review and delete any learner's data, and stop further collection, at any time from the Parents area (one click).
At any time you may review what we hold for a learner, delete it, refuse further collection, and revoke consent. Email [email protected].
